5a6acf0d7c feat: simplify device type to manual-only with 6 options (#109)
- Reduce device type options from 10 to 6 (server, switch, router, access_point, backhaul, other)
- Change label from "Device Role" to "Device Type"
- Disable auto-detection - device type is now required and manual-only
- Add migration to map existing device roles to new simplified set
- Update REST API to include device_role and device_role_source fields
- Automatically set device_role_source to "manual" when device_role is provided
- Update wireless detection to include "backhaul" type
- Enhance display formatting for "Access Point"

Breaking Changes:
- Auto-inference of device type has been disabled
- device_role is now a required field in forms
- GraphQL/REST API consumers will see changed device_role values after migration

6ef6b3d61d fix: comprehensive security audit fixes (#108)
This commit addresses multiple CRITICAL, HIGH, and MEDIUM severity security vulnerabilities identified in the security audit:

CRITICAL FIXES:
- Fix weak RNG for recovery codes - replaced Enum.random() with :crypto.strong_rand_bytes/1 for cryptographically secure token generation
- Fix subscription limit race conditions - moved free org and device quota checks inside transactions with FOR UPDATE locks to prevent concurrent bypass
- Fix default organization race condition - moved is_default check inside transaction to prevent multiple defaults per user

HIGH SEVERITY FIXES:
- Fix agent token deletion race condition - moved PubSub broadcast inside transaction to ensure agents only receive notification after successful deletion

MEDIUM SEVERITY FIXES:
- Fix LIKE wildcard injection in search - applied sanitize_like() to all user-facing search queries in devices.ex, sites.ex, and gaiia.ex to prevent enumeration attacks
- Fix Jason.decode! DoS - replaced with safe Jason.decode/1 with error handling in device_live/index.ex
- Fix SSRF vulnerability - added URL validation in HTTP executor to block requests to private/internal IP ranges (127.0.0.0/8, 10.0.0.0/8, 172.16.0.0/12, 192.168.0.0/16, 169.254.0.0/16)
- Fix error information leakage - replaced inspect() in API responses with generic error messages, logging details server-side only
- Fix atom table pollution - HTTP method normalization now uses whitelist mapping instead of String.to_atom()

SECURITY IMPROVEMENTS:
- All quota checks now use pessimistic locking (SELECT FOR UPDATE) to prevent TOCTOU race conditions
- Private IP validation prevents cloud metadata service access (169.254.169.254)
- DNS resolution performed before HTTP requests to detect IP spoofing
- Error details logged server-side but not exposed to clients

28e97ff5f0 add service checks REST API, GraphQL API, and ping executor (#52)
- REST CRUD at /api/v1/checks for HTTP, TCP, DNS, ping checks
- GraphQL queries (checks, check) and mutations (create/update/delete)
- ping executor using system ping with macOS/Linux parsing
- check config validation for ping type (requires host)
- API documentation updated with checks resource section

33daaf14f0 fix: return raw session token instead of hash in mobile QR login (#42)
the complete_qr_login endpoint was returning session.token (the SHA256
hash stored in the database) instead of session.raw_token (the plaintext).
this caused all subsequent API calls and WebSocket connections to fail
with 401/REFUSED since the server would hash the already-hashed token.

adds a regression test that verifies the returned token is usable for
authenticated API requests.

- LIKE wildcard injection: sanitize %, _ in search queries (devices, sites, gaiia)
- Jason.decode! → Jason.decode with error handling for untrusted input
- inspect() leak: replace with generic error messages, log details server-side
- SSRF protection: URL validator blocks private IPs, localhost, non-HTTP schemes
- SSRF validation added to HTTP monitoring executor and integration credentials
- GraphQL complexity limits: always applied, not just in prod
- GraphQL introspection: also check GET query params, not just body
- Stripe webhook: explicit nil/empty checks for signature and body
- Cookie security: secure flag for session (prod), http_only+secure for remember_me
- Honeybadger API key: read from env var with fallback
- String.to_integer → Integer.parse with fallback for URL params
- String.to_atom → whitelist map for HTTP methods
- Gaiia webhook: remove secret_len and expected signature from log
- Admin API: add rate limiting pipeline
- to_atom_keys: per-key fallback instead of all-or-nothing rescue

feat: add REST API and GraphQL for on-call schedules and escalation policies
REST API v1 endpoints for schedules (14 endpoints) and escalation
policies (10 endpoints) with full CRUD for nested resources (layers,
members, overrides, rules, targets). GraphQL types, resolvers, and
schema mutations for both resource trees.

perf: disable Req retry for faster error tests
- Add retry: false to VISP Client HTTP requests
- Add retry: false to ReleaseChecker GitHub API requests
- Remove unused Plug.Conn import from RemoteIpLogger
- Remove unused default parameter from req_get/2

Results:
- VISP sync test: 7007ms → 113ms (62x faster)
- ReleaseChecker test: 7004ms → 17ms (402x faster)
- UserResetPasswordLive test: 1495ms → 284ms (5x faster)

Req's default retry behavior (1s, 2s, 4s exponential backoff) was
causing 7-second delays for HTTP 500/503 error responses in tests.
For these clients, immediate failure is preferred over retries.

fix: use correct auth check for API organization updates
- API auth uses current_user, not current_scope
- Check membership role directly instead of using owner?/1 helper
- Allow superusers to update organization settings
- Fixes KeyError: key :current_scope not found

Previous code assumed LiveView context with current_scope, but API
requests only have current_user and current_organization_id assigned.

feat: require org owner permission to update organization settings
- Add authorization check in organization_controller.ex update action
- Only organization owners can modify organization settings via API
- Returns 403 Forbidden if user is not an owner
- Affects all organization settings including use_sites and name
- Organization name can now be updated via API (existing field)

This ensures critical organization settings are only changed by authorized users.

Favicon changes to green/yellow/red based on device and alert status.
LiveView computes the status server-side and passes it to a minimal
JS hook that generates PNG favicons via canvas.

fix: correct mail adapter message interpolation in login page
Fixes fragmented translation that displayed raw '%{link}' placeholder text
instead of properly interpolated link in development mail adapter notice.

Changes:
- Consolidate separate translation calls into single interpolated string
- Use raw() helper to safely inject HTML link into translated text
- Update Spanish translation to include %{link} placeholder
- Extract updated translations with mix gettext.extract

Before: "To see sent emails, visit %{link}. the mailbox page."
After: "To see sent emails, visit the mailbox page." (with proper link)

security: implement comprehensive security audit fixes
Critical Fixes:
- Remove /health/time endpoint exposing system time information
  * Prevents attackers from detecting time sync issues for TOTP attacks
  * Removed route and controller function, updated tests
- Add email confirmation check to account data export
  * GDPR export now requires confirmed email address
  * Prevents unconfirmed accounts from accessing data export
- Add path traversal validation for MIB archive uploads
  * Extract to temp directory, validate all paths, then copy if safe
  * Prevents malicious tar/zip files from writing outside target directory
  * Added validate_extracted_paths/1 helper function

High Priority Fixes:
- Add comprehensive input validation for mobile auth
  * Length limits: device_name (255), device_os (100), app_version (50), push_token (512)
  * Prevents database corruption and storage exhaustion
- Add heartbeat rate limiting to agent channel
  * Limit database updates to once per 30 seconds (max ~2/min per agent)
  * Prevents malicious agents from exhausting database connections
- Sanitize 500 error responses
  * Return generic error messages to clients
  * Log full details server-side with request_id for support
  * Prevents leaking stack traces and module names
- Add message size limits to agent channel
  * 10MB maximum for all protobuf messages (result, heartbeat, error)
  * Prevents DoS attacks via oversized payloads

Medium Priority Fixes:
- Add GraphQL query depth limits (max_depth: 10)
  * Prevents DoS from deeply nested queries
  * Complements existing complexity limits

Code Quality:
- Refactor agent channel handlers to reduce nesting depth
  * Extract message processing into separate private functions
  * Fixes Credo warnings about excessive nesting
  * Improves code readability and maintainability

fix: org switching now correctly updates session
The select_org LiveView event was updating default_organization_id in
the database but not the session's current_organization_id. Since
load_default_organization prioritizes the session value, users would
always get redirected back to the stale org.

Replaced with a controller POST action that updates both the session
and DB default before redirecting.

fix: add dark mode support to marketing site
Add dark: variants throughout the marketing page and layout so text,
backgrounds, cards, badges, and borders render properly when the
system or user preference is set to dark mode. Use invert + screen
blend mode on the logo PNG to eliminate its white background.

Skip SNMP check execution in CheckExecutorWorker for agent-polled devices
CheckExecutorWorker was missing the phoenix_snmp_disabled and
should_phoenix_poll_device guards that DevicePollerWorker and
DeviceMonitorWorker already have. This caused SNMP checks to execute
through Phoenix even when devices are assigned to agents, creating
an infinite loop of failing jobs that fill the Oban queue.

e954c7930a Fix Gaiia webhook timestamp: Gaiia sends millis, not seconds
The timestamp check was comparing millisecond timestamps against
System.system_time(:second), causing every webhook to be rejected
as 'expired'. Now normalizes timestamps >10 digits to seconds.

- POST /api/v1/webhooks/pagerduty/:organization_id endpoint
