Fix unique constraint blocking re-enqueues of completed jobs
- Only deduplicate against active jobs (available/scheduled/executing/
  retryable), not completed ones. Completed jobs no longer block new
  inserts for the same args.
- Period reduced from 3600s to 300s
- Fixes contacts stuck in :queued with no actual Oban jobs

Rename qsos table to contacts, qso_id to contact_id
- Migration renames table, column, all indexes, and FK constraints
- Contact schema now references "contacts" table
- TerrainProfile foreign key renamed from qso_id to contact_id
- All code and tests updated to use contact_id

Keep hrrr queue running during propagation grid worker
Don't pause the hrrr queue while PropagationGridWorker runs,
so on-demand HRRR fetches from contact detail pages can proceed.

Fix nil access bugs found in security/bug audit
- TerrainProfileWorker: guard pos1/pos2 nil before accessing lat/lon,
  mark unavailable if missing instead of crashing
- Propagation analysis: guard pos1 nil in compute_factors
- contact_path_points: return [] instead of [{nil, nil}] on missing coords
- JS elevation hook: null check canvas before getContext

Ensure positions computed from grids before any enrichment
- Radio.ensure_positions!/1 computes pos1/pos2/distance from grids
- Called in contact show page mount and enqueue_for_contact
- Migration backfills positions for existing contacts missing them
- Migration corrects enrichment statuses based on actual data presence
- Backfill dashboard includes contacts with grids but no positions

Replace boolean enrichment flags with enum status fields
- New fields: hrrr_status, weather_status, terrain_status, iemre_status
  with values: pending, queued, processing, complete, failed, unavailable
- EnrichmentStatus module defines valid state transitions
- Migration backfills: queued=true → complete, false → pending
- Workers set status on transitions (queued on enqueue, complete on finish)
- Show page reads status from contact struct, not computed dynamically
- Backfill dashboard queries status fields for accurate progress counts
- Remove cron-scheduled ContactWeatherEnqueueWorker (enrichment only on
  submission, page view, or manual backfill)
- Partial indexes on status != 'complete' for fast unprocessed lookups

Add unique constraint to all enrichment workers to prevent duplicates
WeatherFetchWorker, HrrrFetchWorker, and TerrainProfileWorker now have
unique: [period: 3600] — Oban deduplicates identical jobs within 1 hour.
Repeated page loads won't queue redundant fetches.

Never download SRTM tiles during page load, only in Oban workers
- Srtm.lookup no longer auto-downloads by default, requires download: true
- TerrainProfileWorker passes download: true for background tile fetch
- Contact detail page enqueues TerrainProfileWorker if profile missing
- Page load gracefully handles missing tiles via API fallback or nil

Rename qsos to contacts throughout codebase, keep DB table name
Rename all modules, functions, variables, routes, and UI text from
qso/qsos to contact/contacts. Database table stays as "qsos" to avoid
migration. Add /qsos -> /contacts redirects for old URLs.

Revert to algorithm scorer as primary, add propagation reach polygon
The ML model undervalues conditions outside Aug/Sep training data
(e.g. April with excellent factors scored 37/100). Algorithm's
physics-based factors handle unseen seasons correctly.

- Algorithm is primary scorer, ML infrastructure kept for iteration
- Remove unused ML grid worker code path
- Add client-side propagation reach: BFS flood-fill from clicked point
  through contiguous cells with score >= 50, drawn as convex hull polygon

Integrate ML model into grid worker, QSO search, and UI improvements
ML Integration:
- Load trained model at app startup, cache compiled predict fn in persistent_term
- Grid worker uses batched ML prediction (10K chunks) when model loaded,
  falls back to algorithm scorer when not
- ML score replaces composite, algorithm factor scores preserved for detail view
- Fix process explosion: single EXLA call per chunk instead of per-grid-point

QSO Features:
- Callsign search (ILIKE on station1/station2) with trigram indexes
- Reciprocal QSO grouping (same pair, same band, same hour)
- Wider layout (max-w-7xl) for data table pages
- QSO Training Data link on map page

Infrastructure:
- Re-enable hourly propagation grid worker in dev
- Track ML model weights in git for Docker builds
- Add btree indexes on qsos (timestamp, band, distance_km)
- Remove nav icons from layout header

Use local solar time for time-of-day scoring, add PWAT factor and pressure refinements
Score time-of-day per grid point using longitude/15 solar offset instead of
hardcoded CST/CDT. Add PWAT as 10th scoring factor. Refine pressure thresholds.
Update ML model and training pipeline to use local solar time.

Prevent duplicate PropagationGridWorker jobs via Oban unique constraint
Worker now uses unique: [period: 3600, states: [:available, :scheduled,
:executing, :retryable]] so Oban atomically prevents duplicates.
FreshnessMonitor simplified — no longer does manual oban_jobs query.

HRRR forecast hours (f00-f18) with timeline map UI
- HrrrClient.hrrr_url accepts forecast_hour param (wrfsfcfHH.grib2)
- PropagationGridWorker fetches all 19 forecast hours per run
- Propagation.scores_at/3 queries scores at specific valid_time
- Propagation.available_valid_times/1 returns all forecast times for timeline
- Pruning keeps scores with valid_time >= now - 2h (forecast-aware)
- MapLive: select_time event, timeline data pushed to JS
- JS: forecast timeline bar at bottom of map with clickable hour buttons
- PubSub broadcast sends list of valid_times instead of single time

Implement ITU-R P.526-16 terrain diffraction model
- Replace piecewise knife-edge loss with P.526-16 Eq. 31 single formula
- Fix diffraction parameter ν to use standard formula instead of ad-hoc approximation
- Implement Deygout 3-edge method for multiple obstacle diffraction
- Add dynamic k-factor from HRRR refractivity gradient (falls back to 4/3)
- Terrain worker now looks up nearest HRRR profile for atmospheric correction
- Update algo.md with P.526-16 methods and k-factor table
- Fix pre-existing map_live_test antenna height default (33 ft, not 8)

Prune HRRR grid profiles older than 48h after each scoring run
Deletes grid-aligned profiles (0.125 degree) older than 48 hours
while preserving QSO-linked profiles at arbitrary positions.
Called after each PropagationGridWorker run.

- Add enqueue_for_qso/1 to directly enqueue weather/HRRR/terrain/IEMRE
  jobs for a single user-submitted QSO (no cron, no bulk processing)
- Submit flow calls enqueue_for_qso instead of generic enqueue worker
- Add enrichment queues to prod config for on-demand processing
- Guard against HRRR fill values in store_hrrr_profiles (fixes badarith)
- Filter QSOs without pos2 in build_terrain_jobs

Add real-time ASOS adjustments between hourly HRRR updates
New AsosAdjustmentWorker runs every 10 minutes:
- Fetches latest ASOS observations from all ~2900 US stations via
  IEM bulk currents API (parallel fetch across 51 state networks)
- For each grid point within 75km of a reporting station, re-scores
  using fresh ASOS data (temp, dewpoint, wind, sky, pressure, precip)
  with HRRR refractivity gradient from the last hourly computation
- Pushes updated scores to the map via PubSub

Also stores HRRR profiles in the database during grid computation
so the data persists for reference and ASOS blending.

Pause backfill queues during propagation grid fetch
The hrrr/weather/iemre/terrain backfill queues (20+ concurrent jobs)
were competing for bandwidth with the propagation grid HRRR download.
Now pauses those queues before the grid fetch and resumes them after,
ensuring the hourly propagation update completes reliably.

Refactor HRRR fetch to batch points per hour
QSO enrichment now groups all path points by HRRR hour and creates
one batch job per hour instead of one job per point. The batch job
downloads the GRIB2 data once and extracts all needed points from
the same binary. Legacy single-point jobs are still supported for
backward compatibility.

Multi-point path enrichment for HRRR, IEMRE, and weather data
Enqueue worker now gathers atmospheric data at pos1, midpoint, and pos2
along each QSO path instead of only pos1. Existing has_* guards prevent
duplicate fetches at each grid point.

- Add Radio.qso_path_points/1 for path point extraction
- Update hrrr_job_for_qso, iemre_job_for_qso, jobs_for_qso to iterate path points
- Refactor Weather into find_nearest_hrrr/3 and find_nearest_iemre/3
- Add hrrr_profiles_for_path/1 and iemre_for_path/1 query functions
- Add mix reset_enrichment task to trigger re-processing

Chunk Oban.insert_all to avoid PG parameter limit
Weather job fan-out can exceed PostgreSQL's 65535 parameter limit
when many QSOs produce thousands of jobs in a single batch. Chunk
insert_all into batches of 1000 jobs.

Loop enqueue workers until all unprocessed QSOs are covered
Previously each run only enqueued 500 QSOs (the query limit).
Now weather, HRRR, and terrain enqueue functions recurse until
no unprocessed QSOs remain.

Invert HRRR failure logic: only retry transient network/server errors
Instead of listing every permanent failure string, only retry on known
transient errors (5xx, 429, network exceptions). Everything else —
GRIB decode errors, 404s, range request failures, index out of range —
is cancelled immediately.

Reject HRRR downloads when server ignores Range header
S3 returns 200 with the full ~116MB file instead of 206 for some older
HRRR data. Treat this as a permanent failure instead of trying to parse
the entire file.

Fix HRRR pipeline: single concurrency, cancel bad GRIB, rescue stuck jobs
- Reduce HRRR queue to 1 worker to avoid overwhelming upstream
- Add Oban Lifeline plugin to rescue orphaned executing jobs after 30m
- Treat GRIB2 decode errors (malformed section, missing sections, etc.)
  as permanent failures instead of retrying indefinitely

Cancel HRRR jobs on permanent failures (404, outside_grid)
HTTP 404 means the HRRR data doesn't exist on NOAA S3 (pre-2014
dates, etc.) and will never succeed. Return {:cancel, reason}
instead of {:error, reason} so Oban stops retrying immediately.

Increase Oban retry attempts and backoff for external API workers
20 attempts with exponential backoff capped at 6 hours ensures
data is eventually fetched even during extended rate limiting or
API outages (~3 days of retrying before giving up).

Add SRTM terrain path profiles for QSOs
Fetch elevation data along the path between two stations via the
Open-Meteo Elevation API (with Open-Topo-Data fallback), compute
Fresnel zone clearance, earth bulge, and knife-edge diffraction loss,
and store the results per QSO.

- terrain_profiles table with migration and TerrainProfile schema
- ElevationClient with batched API calls and fallback
- TerrainAnalysis with Fresnel/diffraction physics (ITU-R P.526-15)
- TerrainProfileWorker on Oban :terrain queue

Add HRRR model profile fetching for QSOs
HRRR provides hourly 3km-resolution atmospheric profiles, filling the
temporal gaps (12-hourly soundings) and spatial gaps (only 9 sounding
stations) in our current weather data.

- Add hrrr_profiles table and hrrr_queued flag on QSOs
- HrrrClient fetches GRIB2 data via HTTP Range requests + wgrib2
- HrrrFetchWorker derives refractivity/ducting params via SoundingParams
- QsoWeatherEnqueueWorker now also enqueues HRRR jobs
- QSO show page displays HRRR section with collapsible profile
- Dockerfile builds wgrib2 from source for production

Backfill missing QSO distances during weather enqueue scan
Adds haversine_km/4 to Radio context and backfill_distances/1 which
calculates distance_km from pos1/pos2 for QSOs missing it. Called
by QsoWeatherEnqueueWorker before enqueueing weather fetches.

Add QsoWeatherEnqueueWorker cron job to auto-fetch weather for new QSOs
Oban cron worker runs every 4 hours, finds QSOs without weather data,
discovers nearby ASOS/sounding stations, and enqueues WeatherFetchWorker
jobs. Migrations run automatically on app start in production.

Add IEM rate limiting, Req retry, and Oban retry for failed weather fetches
IEM was returning 503s under 10 concurrent workers. Three fixes:
- Req transient retry with exponential backoff on IEM requests
- WeatherFetchWorker Oban job retries failed ASOS/RAOB fetches 2-3h later
  with random jitter to avoid thundering herd
- Import script concurrency reduced 10→5, weather queue capped at 3
